Our Heart
IAMGesher exists to help bridge understanding between Scripture, biblical context, traditions, and faith in Messiah through approachable, Scripture-centered resources for individuals, families, and churches.
Our desire is not to overwhelm people with tradition or theology, but to help believers thoughtfully explore the beauty, meaning, and biblical foundation behind the feasts of the Lord and the Hebraic context of Scripture.
What We Believe About Scripture
We believe all Scripture is inspired by God and valuable for teaching, instruction, correction, and spiritual growth.
We believe both the Old and New Testaments work together to reveal God’s character, His redemptive plan, and His promises fulfilled through Messiah.
We believe Scripture should remain the foundation through which believers seek truth, wisdom, and understanding.
What We Believe About God & Yeshua
We believe in the oneness of God as revealed throughout Scripture and desire to use biblical language and context when discussing God the Father, Yeshua (The Son), and the Ruach HaKodesh (The Holy Spirit).
We believe Yeshua (Jesus) is the promised Messiah, the Son of God, the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan, and the bridge between God and humanity.
We believe salvation comes through faith in Him alone and not through works, traditions, or observances.
We believe Yeshua’s life, teachings, death, and resurrection reveal the heart of the Father and bring reconciliation between God and humanity.
What We Believe About The Biblical Feasts
We believe the biblical feasts described in the Book of Leviticus 23 reveal important themes throughout Scripture and point toward God’s plan of redemption.
We believe these appointed times can deepen understanding, strengthen faith, encourage remembrance, and help believers see meaningful connections throughout the Bible.
We do not believe observing biblical feasts earns salvation or makes someone spiritually superior. Rather, we believe they can serve as meaningful opportunities for worship, reflection, teaching, remembrance, and obedience to God.
We believe the feasts are also a tangible way believers can express their love for God through faithful obedience and intentional remembrance of His redemptive work.
What We Believe About Shabbat
We believe Shabbat is a biblical gift designed for rest, worship, reflection, and time with God.
We believe many believers find beauty and spiritual renewal by intentionally setting aside time to pause from the busyness of life and focus on the Lord, family, fellowship, and Scripture.
We believe Shabbat is the fourth Word (commandment) given by God and that Scripture consistently presents it as holy and set apart.
We believe God was intentional and specific regarding Shabbat, and we desire to honor it as a sign of devotion, remembrance, rest, and belonging to Him.
What We Believe About Traditions
We recognize that many traditions developed throughout history can provide historical insight and cultural understanding that help illuminate Scripture.
At the same time, we believe all traditions should remain secondary to the authority of God’s Word.
IAMGesher seeks to approach traditions thoughtfully and respectfully while maintaining a Scripture-first foundation.
What We Believe About Unity
We believe believers come from different backgrounds, denominations, experiences, and levels of understanding.
Our goal is not division, legalism, or argument, but encouragement, thoughtful study, and deeper appreciation for the richness of Scripture and God’s redemptive story.
We believe that just as God reveals different aspects of His character and wisdom throughout Scripture, the body of believers also carries different perspectives and experiences that can help sharpen and encourage one another.
We desire to approach one another with humility, respect, curiosity, and a biblically grounded willingness to learn.
