Sukkot Feast of Tabernacles Devotional PDF | Scripture-Based Bible Study & 8-Day Family Campfire Guide

Sukkot: God With Us — A Journey Through the Feast

Discover the biblical Feast of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) through Scripture, reflection, tradition, and hands-on experience.

Sukkot: God With Us was created especially for families who want to understand this biblical appointed time but may not know where to begin. Rather than simply explaining the feast, this 59-page digital guide invites you to step into the story—remembering Israel’s wilderness journey while discovering the themes of God’s provision, presence, joy, and faithfulness.

The booklet can be used individually, with your family, or as part of a group celebration. And you don’t have to read it straight through. Choose the journey that fits where you are.

What’s Inside

Part One — Step Into the Wilderness
Experience Sukkot through seven days and the Eighth-Day Gathering. Each day includes Scripture, a short wilderness narrative, personal reflection, Campfire Conversations, prayer, and simple daytime readings designed to help you slow down and experience the feast together.

Part Two — Understanding Sukkot
Explore what Scripture actually commands concerning Sukkot, why Israel was instructed to dwell in booths, the theme of God dwelling with His people, Yeshua’s invitation concerning living water, and the future hope found in Zechariah and Revelation.

Part Three — Sukkot Through the Generations
Learn how Sukkot has been remembered and celebrated through Jewish tradition, including the sukkah, Four Species and lulav, Hallel and Hoshanot, the Temple water-pouring ceremony, and traditional Sukkot readings. Biblical commands and later traditions are distinguished throughout so you can understand where each practice comes from.

Part Four — Celebrate Together
Find simple, practical ways to experience Sukkot with your family or group—including outdoor gatherings, Scripture, conversation, thanksgiving, activities, and meaningful ways to remember God’s provision.

Also included:

• Sukkot Memories reflection page
• Scriptures to remember throughout the feast
• Hebrew and Sukkot glossary
• Explanation of Shemini Atzeret, the Eighth-Day Assembly
• Historical background from the Mishnah
• Connections between Sukkot, Yeshua, and John 7
• A proposed timeline exploring the possibility of Yeshua’s birth near Sukkot

This guide approaches Sukkot with Scripture as its foundation while also exploring Jewish traditions that developed through the generations. Traditions are included to provide historical context and deeper understanding—not as additional biblical commands.

Whether this is your first Sukkot or one of many, this booklet was created to help you rejoice, remember God’s provision, and draw closer to Him.
